We got the feast for two, where the brisket is really juicy and flavorful. But the ribs had l it the meat on it and were not very good. The chicken is standard. The cornbread however, is the best thing on that platter. It was so moist and flavorful, the best cornbread I've had from all the bbq places in the bay. I'd come back again for their brisket and the corn bread

Been to many Famous Daves but this one is very cozy and comfortable. Quick and not super expensive - a favorite restaurant of mine. In Alameda the new Famous Daves is a bit cold and tall ceilings - I like it - but this one has a very different feel. A bit darker and more intimate somehow. Warmer lights - I don't even remember the types - but very very comfortable. I remember likely booth seating around the perimeter and lots of space - we could talk to one another and not hear neighbors very much. Some odd music choice played - but why not try something different than the normal garbage you listen to? Food here was exactly like at any other restaurant of the same name. We sat near the vault where they keep the secret recipes. Don't ask me how to make this stuff. Server was very very pleasant. She didn't fuss over us but was very attentive. Its a very difficult thing to get right especially when your with a larger group like I was in. If I could I would throw a Michelin star your way. Well done - from the moment I reached the entrance to the second I left.

The atmosphere was pleasant, and the restaurant was very clean. Our waitress, Jez, was very attentive. She was pleasant and kept us updated on our order. The manager, Brandon, came by to check on us a couple of times as well. The food was delicious and we took some home with us as well.

Service was quick and friendly. The food was good. The ambiance calm and not too loud.

Great food, easy to find a seat on a weekend, and great service! I got the rib n meat, and my boyfriend got the three meats. All were great options, no complaints! I love the sauce names and the towels they have at each table definitely help a whole bunch. The mac and cheese has a little pepper kick with corn, so it wasn't my favorite, but the chili and potato salad were great! Daves rum punch was probably one of the better rum punches i've had. Definitely coming back!

I was surprised by the flavor and quality of food here! I had the food delivered and the meats were cooked just right with nice flavor. I got one Baja shrimp, buffalo fried chicken and beef brisket. I would order from here again but go into the restaurant because I would like it to be hot and fresh

Today, we came out to see Dave Anderson, owner of Famous Dave's BBQ, hosted a bbq competition featuring local contestants at this location like... Los Mexicutioners Oak Greenwood BBQ Big Daddy's BBQ *People's Choice Bonesauce Oakland Dust BBQ It was a fun event. We ran into friends, so we stayed til the end.
